I was lucky enough to be invited to a rehearsal by the wonderful Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra conducted by their guests conductor Mark Wrigglesworth. They are playing Schubert Symphony No 9 ‘The Great’. I wasn’t allowed to use watercolours in the auditorium so I used Inktense pencils and a brush pen. The intention was to capture the movement and energy involved in playing this amazing music. It was difficult to see the colours in the half light so they may have strange complexions!

Hello,
We love your drawings of our open rehearsal event – thanks for joining us! We’d like to post about the event on our social media and perhaps share an image of your drawing alongside the post? Would you be happy for us to do this? We’d credit you, of course. Thanks, Jade (BSO Membership Team)
Hi Jade
Thank you very much, I am so glad you like them. Yes you are very welcome to use one of the images on your social media. In return I would welcome a credit as you suggest and an invitation to the next open rehearsal so I can do some more! Please let me know if you need a higher res version on the image you select.

That’s wonderful, thank you very much David. Would it be possible to send a high res version of the top image to me by email? It’s jgrassby@bsorchestra.co.uk. We would be delighted for you to join us at the next open rehearsal with Dawn. We don’t have a date yet, but it will likely take place when our next season starts in the autumn.
Thanks again, Jade.
