I have always tried to draw and paint but somehow life got in the way. I am now retired and have time to indulge my passion for creating art.
Over the last couple of years I have realised that I like drawing people. People working, playing or just walking along the street. People in cafes and parks, formal portraits and nude studies, as long as there are people to draw I am happy.
I belong to two art societies, Broadstone Art Society and Poole and East Dorset Art Society. I also go out with the Bournemouth and Poole urban sketchers who are part of the global urban sketchers movement.
