A cold and windy morning at Tuckton bridge yesterday but at least the rain held off until the afternoon.

The last sketch from our outing toWimborne Minster on Tuesday, two girls were having lunch and a gossip on the green by the Minster.
Walford Mill in Wimborne is a great place to sit and draw with a cup of coffee and there were. Plenty of people there yesterday which makes it more interesting.
I love doing timed figure drawings, these are from one minute poses drawn in pencil with some colour added afterwards. It helps me draw quickly without stressing over detail.
Our new studio was delivered on Tuesday and the crew came to build it on Wednesday. The day started bright and sunny but went downhill from around midday with heavy showers and hailstones. Luckily they managed to get the roof finished before it rained. All we need now is electricity and a coat of paint including varnishing the floor with three coats of varnish, I wanted it so I can paint more so I suppose I can’t complain!
Another sketch from our visit to Corfe Castle yesterday. This is West Street looking away from the castle. I wonder how many times this view has been painted and photographed over the years?
Just some doodles in the sketchbook today.
Watching the boys trot along in front of us yesterday when we took them for a walk reminded me of their favourite books “Were going on a bear hunt” soI will call this picture “Bear Hunt”
Our grandchildren came for a visit and wanted to play games. It was good to see they were happy to play dominoes instead of computer games, although we played some of those too.
We are having new fences and gates to make the garden dog safe. Dorset Fencing put in both pairs of gates on Thursday and fenced the back garden on Friday. Next week they are finishing the fencing in the front. They have done a great job and the lads deserved a tea break.
