Day 8 of Inktober and the theme is FRAIL, unfortunately I miss read it as TRAIL and immediately thought of a postcard ai bought in Kansas some years ago showing a pioneers family and wagon at the start of a 2,000 mile journey across America to a new life in the West. I realised my mistake but went with it anyway.

I expect they felt pretty frail after all that journey!
Kansas was the start of the journey, a lot didn’t make it because of accidents, robbery, Indians, drought, floods and sheer exhaustion. Americans were tougher back then.
