My giraffe is from a photo I took at Marwell zoo on a freezing cold day in December, the giraffe was indoors with a background of roof girders and corrugated sheet steel, the great advantage of painting over photography is that these distractions are simply left out! I used some of the techniques learned from Jake Winkle’s demonstration at the art group on Wednesday and am pleased with the result.
