After a visit to the many stunning formal gardens at Hamilton gardens in New Zealand we sat in the rose garden eating a picnic when a hen party appeared. They were having a picnic and a treasure hunt so a few of them had to be included in my sketch. They had seen me sketching them so I showed them the finished piece and got a round of applause! Very gratifying for an old boy to have the admiration of pretty young ladies!
