In a craft shop near Melbourne I found a set of Staedtler water soluble crayons. I’ve not come across them before and as they were reduced to $10 I bought a set. Trying them out on the beach they are very vibrant, a bit like Inktense pencils. Being fat like wax crayons means you can’t get bogged down with detail so they are fun to use.
