Back to the Battle for Wimborne reenactment today. I was lucky enough to witness a musket drill session with corporal Simkins from Colonel Nicholas Deveraux’s regiment. Corporal Simkins put several musketeers through their loading and firing routine in the beautiful garden of the Museum of East Dorset.
