Last Friday I was delighted to be commissioned to sketch at Sophie and Kevin’s wedding in the beautiful Orangery at Merley, near Wimborne in Dorset. Prior to the wedding I did a portrait of the bride and groom and got to know them. On the day I did a watercolour of the ceremony followed by sketches of as many of the guests as I could manage during the afternoon. The sun shone and it was a lovely day for everyone .
