Today’s outing with Poole and East Dorset Art Society to Brownsea Island turned out to be a little wet and windy! We were visiting the castle for a talk on Brownsea’s history and a cream tea. The castle is owned by John Lewis and their staff were very helpful and welcoming so we had a great day despite the weather. A few of us managed to sketch outside before the rain started.
