I was in London on Monday to visit Hazel Sloan’s new gallery in Chelsea. It was wonderful to catch up with Hazel again and see some of her wonderful paintings up close. I have seen some of them in books but at the gallery I was impressed by the size of the watercolours. Many of them are painted on a full imperial sheet making them truly impressive. This beautiful painting of elephants is one of my favourites.
