When I came out of the Mall gallery on Tuesday the Mall was full of police and tourists waiting for the king to travel from Buckingham Palace to Horse guards along with his guest the Amin of Qatar. I waited to see him pass in his car which took around 20 seconds! While waiting we were entertained by a military band and under the watchful eyes of a policeman who appears in my sketch.
