A couple of weeks ago I visited Swanage railway where they had a steam weekend. There’s always plenty to sketch around the railway but this time I was spoilt for choice. It was fascinating to sketch the railway engineers greasing and oiling the Pitchford Hall ready for its run to Norden and back.
