As part of my duties as artist in residence to the Lord Lieutenant of Dorset I attended the VE Day celebrations at a primary school in Dorchester. The children sang and signed popular songs from WW2 and there was a very smart parade from the cadet force. Attended by the Mayor and local MP it was a day the children will remember for a long time.
