As part of my duties as artist in residence to the Lord Lieutenant of Dorset I was invited to sketch at a citizenship ceremony at Dorchester Civic Centre. It was a joyful ceremony and the registrars couldn’t have been more helpful in putting the participants at their ease and explaining exactly what was happening. It was a fairly short ceremony so I only had time for a couple of sketches.
