I attended the Remembrance Day service in Wimborne Minster as part of my duties as Artist in residence to the Lord Lieutenant of Dorset. I managed some sketches in the Minster and during the wreath laying ceremony, all the time making sure I didn’t disturb anyone or distract from the solemnity of the occasion. It was a bonus to discover I had a reserved parking space in the minster’s private car park. Who’d have thought being an artist would take me to all these wonderful places!
