Ginny gave me Adebanji Alade sketchbook for Christmas, it’s a wonderful book, full of sketches of people drawn on his commute in London and it inspired me to draw some random faces. His philosophy is to keep sketching to improve hand eye coordination and not to worry about the finished sketch, it certainly works for him, his work is amazing. I couldn’t decide whether to use pencil or ink so I tried both on this page.
