We are staying on a caravan site near Barnstaple in Devon that looks out on to several wind turbines. I wanted to try to convey how massive they are so I chose charcoal to illustrate how they tower over the trees. This one is around 75metres to the turbine plus the length of a blade. Nelsons column is 52 metres.
