The art group had a trip to London on Wednesday to visit Tate Modern to see the Cezanne exhibition and the National gallery to see Winslow Homer. Cezanne’s colours were amazing and Winslow Homer’s treatment of light exceptional. My sketches done on the coach and in Trafalgar Square not so good! why do they put old masters in those ugly gilt frames?
