Another painting from yesterday’s portrait session at Broadstone Art Society. I like to start with a quick watercolour to study the shape of the head and features, in theory this helps me get it right when doing the pastel portrait. However as we all know two wrongs don’t make a right! Thanks to Darlas Hunter for modelling for us all.
