I haven’t posted for a while because I have been in South Africa with the brilliant watercolour artist Hazel Soan and a small group of artists from around the world. We started in Cape Town and drove to the Kalahari desert to paint the animals, a long standing ambition of mine. We had a wonderful time and I have some new friends and hopefully some new found painting skills thanks to Hazel. Here are a couple of quick sketches done from life.
